In 1978, many of the old rose-colored windows were replaced with stained glass windows depicting the Church as the People of God. The four phases followed were: 1) the People of God in the Old Testament, Promise and Prophecy; 2) Christ the Head of the People of God in the new Testament; 3) the External Growth of the People of God through the Apostles and Missionaries; and 4) the Inner Growth through the Sacraments (symbolical designs).
