Diocese Institute on Stewardship

The Diocese of Cheyenne will sponsor the September Institute in Laramie entitled, “Cherish the Gift, A Call to Stewardship.”  The Institute will be from September 20 to 22 at the Hilton Garden Inn (2229 Grand Avenue) in Laramie.  Bishop Etienne will deliver the introductory address and some final comments at the end of the Institute.  There will be five speakers who are experts in the area of stewardship.  The topics are: “The Spirituality of Stewardship,” “Our Stewardship Journey at Christ the King parish,” “Developing a Total Stewardship Parish at Queen of Peace parish,” “Stewardship and Youth,” “Successful Stewardship Development in Multiple Parishes,” and “Best Practices of Parish Stewardship.”  The parish will pay the fee of $50.00 per person which will cover all institute meals at the Hilton Garden Inn (Tuesday evening, Wednesday breakfast and lunch…dinner is on your own…, and Thursday breakfast).  But you MUST call Fr. Pete no later than Thursday, September 1.  That deadline is firm. You will have to cover your own lodging expenses.  If you wish to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn you will have to make your own reservations (307-745-5500).  There is a discounted rate of $104.00 per night if you mention “the Diocese of Cheyenne.”
