Communion Ministers to the Sick and Homebound are regularly appointed Communion Ministers assigned to the Catholic Parish of St. John the Baptist. These ministers have volunteered to bring the Body of Christ to those unable to receive in any other manner. This is truly a spiritually rewarding experience for all involved. Communion is scheduled to be brought to those who are sick, in nursing homes or homebound weekly at a regularly appointed time. At any time you are unable to complete the assignment, please get a substitute or call the coordinator of this ministry. Contact Fr. Jim, if you are interested in serving in this important ministry.
St John's has a small but very vocal and beautiful choir. Please contact, Choir Director Tony Fox, 620-5491 if you would like to lend your voice.
Young and old can function as Altar Servers. Deacon Jay Garland provides training periodically for those who are interested. Contact him or Mary Ann Cummins, if you are interested.
This ministry helps with Holy Communion at Masses. Training is provided periodically and open signup is announced in the Sunday bulletin.
This ministry serves at masses to help with seating and collections.
