From Doug Graslie to all High School and Post Confirmation Members of St. John the Baptist Parish: You are invited to become involved in the Youth Group we have here at St. John’s. The purpose of the group is “Apologetics.” This means we concentrate on learning about and defending the Catholic Faith. We meet from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Parish Hall. Our first meeting is September 18. The hour is usually broken up as follows: opening prayer, discussion of questions and topics brought up by you; if time, go over the topic for the year; closing prayer. This year the topic is “What Catholics Really Believe – 52 Answers to Common Misconceptions About the Catholic Faith”. I am very excited to have Ben and Carissa Hostetler helping again this year. They will bring a very important viewpoint to the group as young adults
in the Catholic Faith. I hope you will truly consider participating in the Youth Group. I believe it will help you to understand the beauty of and need for the Catholic Faith in your life. Thank you for your time and consideration!
